By ordering from Cake Princess (K2020731453 (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd) you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
PAYMENT
Payment is needed to confirm online and telephone orders and until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed. For orders booked via an invoice pro forma payment a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 100% of the total cost is required to confirm and hold a reservation, and we reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment on the collection date. We must receive the deposit on/before the deposit due date set to begin working on your order. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of the order, contract will be null and void. Issuance and receipt of your invoice is taken as confirmation of your order and because we may have had to turn away other clients and start preparations for your order invoices will remain payable in the event of cancellation or postponement.
COLLECTIONS ONLY, NO DELIVERIES
We are currently offering Collections only, NO DELIVERIES. If you or your representative elect is to pick up your order, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of it once they leave our possession. Once your order have left our bakery we can not be held liable for any damage that occurs on transit
REFUNDS & CREDIT NOTES
All our products are baked to order and we do not accept returns. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your order you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Our quality control team will inspect the defected product for possible compensation. No refunds will be provided if the product in question is not returned to us for inspection. Cake Princess will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.
In the event of an emergency should we fail to make your order on the date requested, a refund for the full amount will be issued to you.
CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether please contact us as far in advance as possible. Telephone orders, orders booked in store, and online orders cancelled 7 days or more before the collection date will receive a 90% refund on the order total; those cancelled within 2-6 days of collection will be entitled to a 50% refund; those cancelled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be provided at Cake Princess’ discretion).
Customers who have booked and received an invoice from Cake Princess are entitled to a full refund on the order total for cancellations made 28 days or more in advance of the order date and a 50% refund for orders cancelled within 7-27 days of the order date. Orders cancelled within 7 days of collection will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be given at Cake Princess’ discretion).
Please also note that our invoice allows for 2 revisions, in the event that the orders can still be changed. Any changes gets forwarded to the bakery to order your supplies, whereafter any additional changes are charged for at R150.00 per change.
Exchanging to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the wrong product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Our quality control team will inspect the defected product for possible
We reserve the right to exercise artistic license and make last minute changes if necessary, in order to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a cake or dessert.
PHOTOGRAPHS
We reserve the right to use photographs of orders we prepare on our website, blog, Instagram pages and Facebook pages and any other social media platforms. If you would like to specifically request that we do not use pictures of your order, or that we provide you with a picture of your order we will usually be happy to do so but you must let us know at the time of ordering.
ALLERGENS
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
